The Faithfulness of God...

1Chr. 16:8 Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples.
1Cor. 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
God has been so near to us - (I know it because I sense how sinful I am!) - and I'm so grateful. We are entering a new phase these days. A sort of "groove" has developed over these last few weeks, largely because God has placed loving supports all around us - through your prayers - to make our days more and more manageable. If the first phase resembled a shock filled whirlwind, during which floods of grace, supernatural helps and pure adrenaline helped us find the "groove" we should be in... this latest phase is more about staying in that "groove".
Jody and I were on a walk today praising God that staying, trusting and resting in the Lord is not achieved in our own strength. It was so freeing to rehearse with one another that the joy of the Lord is our strength. We continued to praise God for all the folks who have told us they are taking stock of their own lives - their own "blueberries" ;-) - and are seeking the Lord more diligently, or sharing their faith more freely as a result of our trial. What an unexpected joy for us!
[Photo is circa '91... not certain who took it... but as I go through our photos I am shocked how many of them occur in studios! I guess it's because, like Ray said, "It's what we do."]

Praise God for His continual and abundant variety of blueberries! It's true that if you have too many in your bowl, many go untasted, and some even spoil. But the fewer you have, the more you can appreciate and savor each one! Oh, the joy of savoring one at a time!!
God is using you as a testimony to us of His great and mysterious ways!
His mercies are new every morning! Great is His Faithfulness!!
Jody, I sent you an email passing on some info from a friend, hope you got it!
Love you guys!
Kari
