It's time for a blog diversion!

To undertand this series of photographs is to truly have an insight
into the mind of my beloved uber-creative songstress!

In the small town Mittenwald of Germany, the sun rises with song and laughter. The people live out their fantasies as an urban musical. Here in this intense scene the towns music man Klaus (played by Tom Hanks) blesses Helga (played by Gladys) with the gift of song.

Scene One with song, "Bring the funk and kolln flocken"

(sung in "Oom Pa Pa")

Klaus:
My dearest dog,
the one I love.
Be kind to me,
and sing this song.

Helga:
Blinks at Klaus.

Klaus:
Long time before,
I have gone to store.
With you in mind,
I bought one more.

Daydream sequence with Helga envisioning a sqeezebox of her own. The song continues through the rest of the scene.

Klaus:
So play with me,
my sweet puppy.
Bless this town,
And bring the funk.

Klaus and Helga play juicy funk on their sqeezeboxes all through the night. Eventually they start their own group called Die glücklichen Eier für Sie (The Happy Eggs for You) and tour through Germany, playing at retirement centers based in nearby towns.

When did Gladys learn to play the accordion? Rufus is taking harmonica lessons. So he and Gladys can pair up and lead woofship some day!

I, JenM, (whose computer doesn't recognise me anymore) cannot rightfully take credit for "woofship". Everything else I dictated to my friend Marcella, but she changed "worship" to "woofship" of her own accord-I mean, her own accordion!

Oh my Gladys come here.
Oh my Gladys come here.
Oh my Gladys come and play with me.
It will bring us good cheer! :0
