Praise From ICU
Prov. 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.
During our time in ICU, we have experienced very difficult hours. But this is a good report!
God has blessed today - and we are overwhelmed with joy even as we go through the deepest trial of our lives. By God's grace, Jody has been weaned from the heart fluid tube, the respirator, and the sedation she was on. Her vitals are stable and her kidneys and liver have rebounded!
We are hoping to get continued good reports like this that would allow Jody to graduate from ICU, but for that - as in everything - we trust the Lord.
Her throat is very sore and she can't drink for a couple hours - but she is looking forward to her first treat - ice chips! We can hardly wait for 5:00 pm today when we can give them to her. There are no words to express our gratitude for your labor in prayer on our behalf! The Lord, Jesus Christ is our Rock and Salvation. This must be brief... off to the ice chip ceremony!
All praise to You, Father God!
Exodus 15:26 I, the LORD, am your healer.

It says "Anonymous" but it's me again, brother Bill. One of these days I'll figure out how to log on to your blog with some cute name or other. For now, this news is so sweet I can hardly stand it. I thank the Power that made us all. Even though Jody looked so frail this past couple of days, her beauty and courage were there for all to see. What a woman. And what a man you are, my wonder brother-in-law. And what magnificent friends you have: Logan and Don particularly, but also Bonnie and Helga and Pam and Andy and Diana and Rich and Nick and Bobbie and Matt and Warren and Bee and the Zimmers and all the other folks I met whose names have temporarily escaped me because I'm getting old and because I'm feeling so emotional right now. Be advised, I'm coming back for an extended stay, because there's no place I would rather be than near you two. For now, if you'll pardon me, I'm going to sign off and shed a few tears of pure joy.
Bill
Amen Scott,
It was so important to hear this in lieu of my own mothers trials with cancer. We will continue to pray for nothing short of complete healing for Jody and mom.

We are praying for you with tender hearts as we watch God work in your lives. To Him be the Glory. All our love,

Scott--Thank you for your faithful updates. Please know how much the lows and the highs of your journey have meant to us...that we have grown so much by your example in learning to wait on the Lord's every decision and take comfort in following your narrative of how you always seek to acknowledge His hand in every moment. Jody's songs of praise and faith sing in my heart and lift me up, even when she cannot say or sing a note and I pray that I will hear her sing in person again...soon!
Dear Scott and Jody,
Praise be to God for His abundant grace and mercy to us in Jesus Christ, and praise to Him for this wonderful report. You are in our thoughts as we plead His further grace in your lives.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe. Prov. 18:10

It was such an amazing and providential priveledge to be able to serve you tangibly in even such a small way today. I think we were more blessed in being able to do something for you . . . a little something to make Jody smile. It was definately a divinely appointed appointment, as we came away so encouraged to have seen and met friends old and new. Please know you are in our prayers and our hearts, but more importantly, in the merciful and mighty hands of our all-wise and omniscient God.
Dear Bro Scott,
I (Randy) and my wife (Kimberly) are joining you in prayer everyday and night. We pray that very soon we will all have good testimony on our sister. The sound of joy shall be sound in your tent very soon. May the power of Almighty be with you and continue to strenthten you,He will see us through during this trying period.
With Love from :
Randy & Kimberly.
