New! Many people have asked how to help us - and we have a terrific suggestion! In lieu of flowers, etc., Jody and I have set up an easy way for you to donate to our favorite charity that benefits our beloved Grace Community Church Missionaries! Since 1994, Jody and I have been passionate about these families serving throughout the world in strategic ministries and it would be a tremendous encouragement as you stand with us in this way! (It's tax deductible, 100% goes to the cause, and it's anonymous.)

Bonjour Jody, bonjour Scott,
Thank you for taking time to setup this blog as we know you presently don't have much time.
How comforting it is to know that you are surrounded by great and strong prayer warriors. A true blessing!
You are in my prayers and many fellows here in Paris pray for you too!
Through Jesus-Christ, God gives us Victory in everything! What a wonderful and powerful God we have! He is Almighty!
I praise our Lord for the wonders He has in store for you and for the powerful witness you are to the world!
With much love.
Stephane.
Posting for Pam Bartnicki...
Thank you both for including me in this God loving, faithful update. The Lord puts you on my heart everyday. MARK 11:24
I pray for the one bearing the brunt of the burden and also all the friends and loved ones who help carry it every day. I know you both have prayed for me, and it is my honor and priveledge in Christ to bear this burden with you by lifting you to His throne of grace daily.
Guten Tag Scott & Jody!
We in the Henderson family are so thankful for your deep dependence upon our Lord's mercy, grace, power, and faithfulness.
We are praying for you!

Jody & Scotty,
You know I am no wack-o, because we have the same steady teacher who whould not stand for that. But, I remember reading in the Scripture when I first became a Christian (28 years ago)somewhere in the Gospels where Jesus was healing someone and told that person "be it unto you as you believe" I can't remember the translation which is why I can't reference the exact chapter and verse, but it burned itself into my heart and I have seen God do astonishing things in these years as one of His own. I believe God is able to do anything He wills, I put nothing out of bounds to Him. So I continue to pray what I saw in my prayer time two weeks ago. Every morning in the wee hours when all is quiet I kneel in the presence of our great God and Savior and place you in His healing hands. So reach out Jody and touch the hem of His garment.
I love you both
[Posted for Kari at her request.]
Dear precious Jody,
I remember so clearly how God used you to encourage and pray during Steve’s hospitalization in 1995. Your daily visits and calls were such a blessing to both of us. And then you, Scott, and Elmer even took time our of your schedule to help us get home after Steve’s discharge, even providing sheets for our pull-out couch we used until Steve regained the strength to go upstairs! We so appreciated your ministry to us during that difficult time in our lives.
I also have so deeply appreciated being a part of your discipleship group for over 10 years. You have encouraged me to look to the Lord as my source of daily strength, and have been willing to lovingly, but directly, help our group confront sinful attitudes in our hearts. You have been humble enough to admit your own struggles, yet spiritually mature enough to be an encouraging example. I am so grateful for the time you’ve invested in me over the years!
I will continue to pray for you as you deal with this “valley” in your life. Your trust in God is so evident on your blog, and is just another way that you and Scott have honored your Savior and your Great Physician. You are in our hearts and prayers.
Love, Kari
Thanks BT!

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you and Jody know that we are praising the Lord along with you for all His goodness and direction! What an awesome God we serve!
We are so excited to hear how well the last procedure went and that Jody came through it with flying colors! You continue to be in our prayers for His guidance, mercy and protection. Great is His Faithfulness to those who love Him.

Scott & Jody,
Sorry to hear about the recent turn of events. You have been on our minds so much. We love you and are praying for you!

Scott & Jody,
I forwarded your blog to an unsaved friend of mine. She wanted to know just what personal comfort and nourishment one could get from the bible.
I am fasting and praying specifically for you both today.
Angela (no, I don't believe you do know who I am. Just a Grace sister in the Lord)
Dear Scott and Jody,
Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
The other day I went out to pray and was stopped by 3 hummingbirds swooping in and out of bushes with little red micro flowers that they were getting the nector out of. 2 of the 3 seemed to stick close together as they were flying and hovering in and out of the flowers joyously enjoying the time. When I saw these 2 hummingbirds I immediately thought of you. Thank you for continuing to share your lives with us as you go through this immense trial that you are shinning so brightly for the Lord.
We will continue to add our prayers with the saints for you both,
rick, lisa, and aimee, jessie, sarah, and heather.
We are praying that the Lord will magnify His loving comfort and tender grace to you both, infusing you with courageous faith at such a time as this.
Much love,
Irv and Karen
Just wanted to say my husband and I are praying for you. I don't know you personally, but am immensely spurred on by your music ministry at Grace. I both laughed and cried through Jody's music (specifically at EWG and the women's retreats). She is a true jewel - now back in the King's Crown!
Very-very interesting!
