Special Prayer Request!
Hello Dear Friends,
Our immediate need is for you to pray fervently that Jody will do well with her chemotherapy treatments. Her first round has begun, she is relaxed and we are talking about the goodness of the Lord.
Specifically, pray that the possible side effects - which range from nausea to blood problems - do not present themselves. If they should appear, pray that they would be minimal. Pray that God would protect everything in Jody except the disease. Please pray that God would give Jody an extra measure of grace regarding the likely loss of her hair. We are working with a terrific team of helpful ladies in this regard.
Most of all, please pray that the Lord, our Abba, would be honored as we trust Him and seek to worship Him through these difficult times.
Ps. 34:1-3 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.

Thank you for your faithful updates. I'm thankful for even something like technology, which enables you to update so many people in such a short amount of time, enabling the saints to more effectively (and specifically) pray.

We will continue to pray the Lord lifts up yours and Jody's spirit and will continue to pray for nothing less than a full healing.
Please keep my mom in you're prayers too, as she is going tru her treatments now.

I am in agreement with Jim Lum, the Brother who is praying for nothing short of a full recovery for Jody, and his mom. Our Holy and immutable God, Jehovah-shammah, the Lord ever present, is still the Lord our Healer, Jehovah-rapha. "Every perfect gift, (including the gift of healing) is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17). Nevertheless, may His peace, comfort, and joy bring Jody and Jim's mom solace and stength, each and every day. Praise be to God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Dear Father,
Your mercies are new every morning and I pray that You would continue to shower your grace and strength to Jody as she takes these chemo treatments. We know that every detail is under Your sovereign control but continue to pray for healing in Your will and Your grace that sustains all of us. Thank You for Scott and Jody and all those around her who so proclaims Your kindness and awesome testimony. In Jesus Name, I pray Amen.
